  Gorgeous fish paella. Loads of fish and perfect. Followed by home made ice cream, which was the best ice cream either of us had ever had in our lives - superb meal. Many thanks.

  A lovely restaurant but meal was poor. We were a group of about 16. Many of us ordered fish paella. I was the last to receive my meal & it seemed they'd run out as my dish was mostly rice with one shell on prawn & one shelled prawn & 3 mussels. No other fish in it at all. Others with the same dish had a much larger amount of food & had lots of prawns & other fish. The others had theirs served on a paella dish, mine was spread out thinly on a plate, a child size portion. The plate was cold & the paella was luke warm. I spoke quietly to the waitress about my meal & she said she was sorry & she'd let the chef know. Nothing more was said, no offer of anything else & nothing taken off the bill. Not impressed!! May be not the place to go with a large group.

  An unexpected Gem. Need to book on high days and holidays. Authentic Spanish Tapas. Cowes born lady met Spanish chef, married and after running restaurant in Spain, returned to Ventnor. Excellent food and wine in informal setting.
